Fall River, Attleboro, Weymouth men in custody in connection with deadly double shooting

Following an intensive investigation by Worcester Police detectives, three males are in custody in connection with a deadly shooting on Brookside Avenue. A male and female were shot on November 21, 2024, and died of their injuries.
According to Worcester Police, on Monday, twenty-two-year-old Sheldon Thorpe of Fall River was located and arrested in Dorchester. He was charged with Murder (x2), Armed Assault w/ Intent to Rob (x2), Unlawful Carry of a Rifle, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Possession of a Rifle in the Commission of a Felony.
On Thursday, thirty-one-year-old Shaquille Watford of Weymouth was located and arrested in that town on warrants related to the Worcester shootings and unrelated warrants. He faces two charges of Armed Assault w/ Intent to Rob, Unlawful Carry of a Rifle, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Possession of a Rifle in the Commission of a Felony. He is set to be arraigned on two charges of murder.
A third suspect, twenty-nine-year-old Jeffrey Toney of Attleboro, was already in custody on unrelated charges. He faces two charges of Armed Assault w/ Intent to Rob, Unlawful Carry of a Rifle, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Possession of a Rifle in the Commission of a Felony. He is set to be arraigned on two charges of murder.
