For over 20 years, IAFF Local #1314 Fall River Firefighters has partnered with the Department of Children and Families in Fall River to bring joy to more than 150 children on Christmas morning. Members used the Dive Truck to deliver the presents to the Department of Children and Families on North Main Street.

The Swansea Police Department gathered donations for its annual Toy Drive, a tradition for the department’s officers going back more than 10 years, providing gifts to over 100 children who otherwise would go without them this holiday season.

Also, countless businesses donated to toy drives and to those less fortunate.

Thank you to those we mentioned and to others we didn’t catch for making Christmas brighter to those who could use a little help.
