Fall River area communities, begin canceling school, parking bans, announcing delays, after Saturday blizzard

Area schools have begun announcing snow days and delays after Saturday’s storm.

Fall River Public Schools: Closed
Diman: Closed
Argosy: Closed
Atlantis Charter School: Closed
Saint Stanislaus: Closed
Saint Michaels: Closed
Espirito Santo: Closed
Holy Name: Closed
Holy Trinity: Closed
Somerset Schools: 1 hour delay
Dartmouth Schools: 1 hour delay

Several communities have begun lifting parking bans.

Fall River: 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 28th until 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 31st
Somerset: 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 28th until 11:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30th
Swansea: From Friday, Jan. 28, at 10:00 p.m. until Sunday, Jan. 30, at 8:00 a.m.
Tiverton: 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 28th until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30th

Trash in Fall River will be picked up on Monday.
