Fall River and State Police rescue attempted bridge jumper at Charles Braga Bridge in Fall River
Fall River and Massachusetts State Police possibly saved the life of a man on Friday evening.
According to scanner transmissions, a call came in to Fall River Police via Somerset Police just after 8:30 p.m. for an individual climbing the railing on the westbound side of the Charles Braga Bridge in Fall River.
In the matter of a few minutes, personnel had the man on the ground safely.
The individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
