FALL RIVER — Behavioral Health Network, Inc. has announced that they will celebrate the grand opening of their new Abilities Learning Center with a ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 182 North Main Street, Fall River. The Center expands access to supportive, individualized, and play-based services for children and youth with autism.

Fall River Mayor Paul Coogan and State Representative Alan Silvia will join BHN leadership and Mike O’Sullivan, CEO of the One SouthCoast Chamberin offering remarks during the ribbon cutting ceremony. Community partners and referring organizations will also be in attendance to celebrate the opening, which represents a significant investment in the Fall River community and expanded access to autism services across the region.

The event will include a ribbon cutting and remarks, followed by opportunities for attendees to tour the new space, meet program staff, and learn more about services now available to children and families.

The Abilities Learning Center program offers Applied Behavior Analysis services tailored to each child’s needs, supporting the development of communication, social, and daily living skills. Families may choose between in-home ABA services or center-based support at BHN’s new Fall River location, which features structured learning environments, opportunities for peer interaction, and calming sensory rooms.

The May 8th grand opening is geared toward community partners and referring organizations. Families interested in services at the Abilities Learning Center may call 413-301-WELL (9355) or visit www.bhninc.org/aba. BHN accepts most private insurance, MassHealth Managed Care plans, and private pay. The program currently has no waitlist, with immediate appointment availability.

In addition to the Fall River location, BHN offers Abilities programming in Springfield, and Worcester, expanding access to services for families across Western Massachusetts.
