Faces of Fall River #11: Bryce Berry

Bryce Berry is an independent hip-hop artist is known for raw, emotionally direct music that reflects life in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was born at Charlton Memorial Hospital and played football at B.M.C Durfee High School where he graduated as the school’s Vice President.

Berry’s sound is hard to pin to one lane—he switches flows, changes vocal tones, and moves between moods without settling into a single style. Listeners often describe the work as unpredictable but consistent in quality and feeling. He often dedicates his music to his brother Brennan who passed away from a drug overdose.

His lyrics draw from personal experience and the lives around him. Passion, pressure, loyalty, grief, and a chip-on-the-shoulder Fall River attitude run through the records. He does not polish the edges just to sound like everyone else; the music is meant to feel lived-in.

Berry has been making music in the local scene for years. An early standout was his feature on ZEE LXC’s 2020 track “HENNESSEY WALK” (with Dopeboi Davinci), which some locals still call one of the city’s better rap records from that period. He later appeared on Ant’s Late Night Show, where he discussed taking rap more seriously after earlier work including a track called “Honeywalk” with Smokey, and noted that his mother influenced his style. He has also dropped freestyles, including one on the Heartless series.

In 2025–2026 he released a string of singles: “No Competition,” “Falling,” “Caught In The Moment,” “Close To Me,” “Sacrifice” (feat. EXITFAME), “1 AM,” “Aug 21st,” and “ski Mask.” The song “Aug 21st” is tied to his late brother Brennan Lambert (August 21, 1993–June 17, 2024). Brennan, son of Bethany Lambert and Yugie Berry, was one of several siblings; the family remembered him as a creative, family-oriented presence. Putting that loss into music is one of the clearer windows into Berry’s approach.

He records in the area (including Diamond Studio), performs locally, and has begun building a tighter team. Manager Jake Formisano has been publicly linked to this chapter. Berry also shows up in community work—for example co-hosting a back-to-school backpack and supplies giveaway.

Berry’s streams his music on Spotify, grinding out of a New England scene rather than a national rollout. What he has built is a local reputation for honesty, versatility, and consistency. Fall River hip-hop does not get a huge national spotlight; Berry is one of the names people in the city point to when they talk about artists who sound like they actually come from there.
