Event organized for first anniversary of Fall River’s devastating Gabriel House fire that killed 10
(FALL RIVER, MA- July 7, 2026)- On Monday, July 13th, at 6:30 p.m., Mayor Paul Coogan will join community members for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and prayer to mark the first anniversary of the Gabriel House fire.
The remembrance ceremony will be held in front of Gabriel House on Oliver Street in Fall River.
The gathering will honor the ten lives lost in the fire, recognize the strength and resilience of the survivors, and hear from survivors and the first responders who helped save lives that day.
All members of the community are invited to attend.
The 10 fatal victims were:
