Entercom selling 107.3 FM to Christian Music Organization for $10.75 million
WAAF as we know it is coming to an end.
Entercom Communications Corp., today announced an agreement to sell 107.3 FM in Boston to Educational Media Foundation (EMF) for $10.75 million in cash.
Entercom will continue to air WAAF on 104.1 HD2, 93.7 HD2, and on RADIO.COM.
EMF will begin programming 107.3 FM beginning Saturday, February 22, 2020. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020.
EMF is known for broadcasting contemporary Christian music.
WAAF lost morning show host Greg Hill last year to WEEI and was celebrating 50 years of rock on the frequency this year.
