Electric skateboard operator goes airborne after collision with vehicle in Fall River

Fall River crews responded Thursday night after a pedestrian went airborne after colliding with a vehicle.

At approximately 8:45 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a report of a vehicle versus a pedestrian crash with injury in the area of the intersection of Brayton Avenue and Rodman in Fall River.

According to Acting Chief J.T. Hoar, the pedestrian was on an electric skateboard and failed to stop at a red light and then was struck by a motorist.

The injuries are considered non-life threatening.
