Elderly woman in intensive care after hit and run pedestrian crash in Fall River
Police and a grandson are looking for the public’s help to find a hit and run driver in Fall River.
At just before 9:00 p.m., crews responded to Broadway in the area of Red’s Quick Zone, 200 Broadway, for an elderly woman who had been hit by a car and was on the ground.
According to the victim’s grandson, Trevor Laliberte, she was crossing the street when a car stopped to let her cross. There was another car behind that car that also stopped and the 3rd car tried driving around the 2 cars that stopped to let her cross the street and hit her.
The unidentified white sedan drove away from the scene.
Laliberte gave an update on her condition.
“Luckily, she’s alive and stable but she’s in the ICU with a lot of injuries.”
