Drug and gun bust by Fall River Police Department nets 5 arrests
Several people were arrested in a Fall River bust on Wednesday morning.
According to police, during the early morning hours, a coordinated effort by the Patrol Bureau, Major Case Division, Community Action & Suppression Team (CAST), and Emergency Services Unit led to the successful application and execution of multiple search warrants for a property associated with 700 Second Street.
This operation was initiated as part of an ongoing investigation stemming from a previously reported incident. As a result of the investigation and subsequent searches, officers seized a firearm, ammunition, and a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics.
20-year-old Ludugero Dias, 26-year-old Ashly Teixeira, 23-year-old Alajaiza Oliveira, 31-year-old Carlos Gomes, and 20-year-old Dylan Santos were arrested.
All five were arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, Trafficking Fentanyl Over 10g, Possess Class B, Possess Firearm Without FID, Possess Large Capacity Firearm, Possess Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Possess Ammunition Without FID.

At today’s arraignment, Teixeira, Santos, Gomes, and Oliveira pled not guilty with bail ordered at $1,000 cash.
Dias was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday.
Santos posted bail.
