Driver rushed to Rhode Island hospital after rollover crash on Route 118
A local driver was injured Thursday morning in a rollover crash.
According to Sgt. James Casey, at just after 4:30 a.m., the Rehoboth Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Winthrop St. (Route 44) and Anawan St. (Route 118).
When officers arrived on scene they observed a red pickup truck on its roof.
The operator was a 61-year-old male from East Providence, Rhode Island. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital due to serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Rehoboth Police Department with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police.
