Driver MedFlighted after serious injuries in Bristol County highway crash

A Bristol County highway crash Sunday resulted in injuries and a response from multiple agencies.

According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Troopers from the Middleboro Barracks and Raynham Fire/EMS responded to a single motor vehicle crash in the breakdown lane on Route 495 South at mm 17.4 in Raynham.

One male operator sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries. MedFlight airlifted the victim as a precaution to a Boston area hospital.

The left lane was closed for approximately two hours.

MassDOT assessed guardrail damage.

The Plymouth State Police Detectives Unit and the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section responded to the scene.
