Driver injured in crash on President Avenue rotary Monday
A driver was injured today after crashing a vehicle at the President Avenue rotary.
According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 12:30 p.m., responders arrived to find a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire in the woods off of the rotary. During the crash, the 64-year-old female driver knocked down a light pole and a highway sign. Police stated that the vehicle appeared to be heading toward Route 24.
Due to the sign and pole being down, DPW and other authorities responded to the scene.
The driver was transported to Rhode Island Hospital due to her injuries.
The crash is still under investigation
