Driver facing multiple charges after three-vehicle crash in Fall River sends several to hospital
One person was charged after a three-vehicle crash in Fall River over the weekend.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Saturday, units responded to the intersection of Plymouth Avenue and Globe Street in response to a motor vehicle collision with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers learned that two vehicles were stopped at the red traffic signal when a Toyota Corolla failed to stop in time and rear-ended a Ford Fusion . The force of this collision caused a chain reaction which led to the Ford Fusion rear-ending a Subaru.
All parties involved in the accident were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
The operator of the Toyota Corolla, a 22-year-old Fall River man was cited for operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, and failure to use care while stopping.
