Driver cited in Fall River after driving through fence, over wall, into parking lot
A driver was cited and taken to the hospital after a crash early Monday afternoon in Fall River.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 12:15 p.m., officers responded to 1512 South Main Street in response to a motor vehicle collision.
An individual reportedly inadvertently drove through the fence which abuts Walgreen’s Pharmacy and struck a vehicle which was parked in the lot. That vehicle was unoccupied.
Pereira stated that the operator of the vehicle, who was cited for failure to use care, was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital for medical evaluation.

The quality of drivers in this town (and state, more broadly) has degraded considerably since the pandemic. You might as well get a driver’s license from a cereal box. Constant tailgating, red light blowing, and so much more. I guess that’s what you get when you’ve got a police department dealign with overdoses and not enforcing traffic laws.
