Driver charged, Fall River woman killed in Thursday morning crash
A Fall River woman has died in a serious crash that occurred Thursday morning.
According to Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, 67 year old Patricia Connor of Fall River was the victim in the crash.
Preliminary investigation reveals Connor was travelling on Robeson Street in her Toyota Yaris. The other vehicle, a Toyota Scion, which was being driven by a 25-year-old Plainville man, was travelling on Valentine Street into the intersection with Robeson. The two cars collided and the deceased victim was ejected from her vehicle. Both were transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital. He suffered minor injuries. She was declared deceased at the hospital.
The male driver, Eric Shalhoub, is being cited for negligent motor vehicle homicide and failure to stop and will be summonsed into court.
