Driver arrested in head-on crash that injured two, one critically
A driver has been arrested after a serious crash this weekend that led to multiple injuries.
According to Rhode Island State Police, on Saturday, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Troopers responded to Ten Road at Arcadia Road in Exeter to investigate a head on motor vehicle collision. The juvenile operator of one vehicle was transported with minor injuries and the juvenile passenger was transported with critical injuries.
The operator of the second vehicle identified as Alexander Krajewski, age 30, of North Kingstown, RI was not injured and as was arrested and charged with Driving to Endanger, Resulting in Personal Injury, Driving to Endanger, Resulting in Personal Injury, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. Krajewski was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and released.
The two vehicles involved sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. The collision remains under investigation.
