Dog allegedly hit, killed, put in bag in Fall River by delivery driver returned to owner

A local pet owner now has some closure after her pet dog was reportedly hit and killed in Fall River.

According to Eliana, the dog’s owner, a driver that was delivering packages for Walmart ran over her 16-year-old chihuahua on Michael Street just before 6:00 p.m. on Friday.  

Eliana stated the male driver, who was located, simply asked the neighbor for a bag, put her inside and drove off with her body.

Eliana had contacted police and Walmart but had not yet had her dog Princess in her possession.

After Fall River Reporter posted her story on Saturday, Eliana had good news for us on Sunday morning.

“Thank you for your help! My dog’s body was returned to us last night and we dropped her off at the vet to get cremated, so I can have her ashes with us ”
