Doctor who cared for patients throughout the South Coast community for decades has died

A doctor who treated patients throughout the South Coast has died.

Dr. John Colletti, D.C., of Westport passed away on January 14th at the age of 82.

According to an obituary, “Dr. Colletti cared for patients throughout the South Coast community for many years, first at Chiropractic Associates in South Dartmouth and later at Colletti Chiropractic in Westport. He believed deeply in showing up for his community and served the Town of Westport in civic life, including as Chairman of the Westport Board of Health.”

A memorial service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the Potter Funeral Home in Westport.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, immediately prior to the service.

Interment will be private.
