Do you like over the top acting often seen in daytime soap operas? Fall River’s FinFin and Smokey are for you!

Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet(s) of the Week FinFin and Smokey!
Do you have a flair for the dramatic? Do you like theater and over the top acting that’s often seen in daytime soap operas?
These two are for you.
FinFin is a ten-month-old chihuahua/papillon mix who weighs about 8lbs and his partner in crime is Smokey, a 2 year and 8-month-old lhasa apso/poodle mix who weighs 13lbs.
If you look up the word “drama” in the dictionary, there will be a picture of FinFin in a feather boa pretending to faint on a chaise lounge like a Victorian lady with the vapors. His reaction to everything is to scream like he’s the final girl in a horror movie. He’s got a scream that will put Jamie Lee Curtis to shame. He will scream and scream and then he realizes nothing bad is happening and he immediately stops and turns into a happy camper. He’s definitely a shy boy but he is the biggest sweetheart once he warms up to you, he’s obsessed with getting and receiving kisses.
Smokey is no less dramatic but he’s more of the “fainting goat” type of dramatic. He stops, drops, and rolls like an elementary school fire drill. He’s the shyer of the two boys but he is an absolute lovebug snuggler when he gets comfy. He’ll beg to be held like a baby by hopping up on your legs and his favorite thing to do is snuggle up against your chest while you carry him around. Fair warning, though, this boy is an escape artist. He’ll get out of things and you’ll have no idea how he even escaped…Fin is a narc and will snitch on him by screaming if he sees Smokey trying to escape.
These boys give each other confidence and help each other open up to new possibilities and new people. They’re learning how to walk on a leash together and progress is being made with lots of encouragement and sweet talking. They both lived with other dogs and did well with them and both of them are wary of cats which is fair considering most cats are bigger than Fin. Forever Paws would prefer older kids to limit the quick movements/loud noises around them and make their environment as stress-free as possible. Obviously, they are trying their absolute hardest to keep them together.
