District Attorney: Two dead bodies found near Massachusetts Walmart

BREAKING (8:32am Thursday): Salem police have arrested a man in connection with the deaths of the two men and charged him with murder.

Two bodies have been located near a Massachusetts department store.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, on Wednesday, at approximately 2:23 p.m., Salem Police were called to a wooded area adjacent to the Walmart at 450 Highland Avenue when a man, walking his dog, came upon what appeared to be a human body.

Responding police found the bodies of two males deceased at the location.

At this point an investigation led by the Essex County District Attorney’s Office along with the Massachusetts State Police and the Salem Police is underway to determine the cause of death and if foul play was involved.
