District Attorney: Massachusetts child dies after falling from third-story window

Tragedy struck over the weekend as a child has died after an incident.

According to a District Attorney spokesperson, the Southbridge Police Department and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate an unattended death in Southbridge on Saturday morning.

Initial reports suggest that a juvenile fell from a third-story window.

The Office of the Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and an autopsy is pending.

The matter remains under investigation.
