District Attorney identifies pedestrian who died after being injured in motor vehicle crash
A Massachusetts pedestrian seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash earlier this week has succumbed to her injuries at a Boston hospital, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said today.
65-year-old Ruth Samuel of Dorchester was struck in the area of Warren Street and Silver Street in Randolph just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. (DA previously stated that the deceased was 57-year-old Ruth Samuels)
The driver of the car, a 48-year-old woman, remained at the scene.
No charges were immediately filed.
The crash remains under investigation by Randolph Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
