Tuesday a serious crash resulted in a driver being cited.
According to West Bridgewater Police, at approximately 4:08 p.m., the WBPD received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street.
The caller described the accident as a head on collision with airbag deployment.
Once on scene, officers were able to determine that one of the operators was texting just prior to the accident and failed to stay within their marked lane.
The operator of the second vehicle, a West Bridgewater resident, was hit head on and later transported to a local hospital.
