For the first time in Diman’s history, the Varsity Boys Baseball Team won the Vocational State Baseball Tournament with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Blackstone Valley Voc. Tech.
According to Diman Regional, Tanyon Reis came up clutch with a monster solo HR in the 4th inning to put the Bengals on the board for their only run and that is all they needed as Sam Perry threw a shutout, keeping Blackstone Valley scoreless in a dominant performance.
The win was the 13th in a row for the Bengals.

The boys take on Boston Latin in the first round of the MIAA tournament this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Roxbury High School.
