A Fall River area student has received a prestigious recognition.
Diman Regional has announced that one of their very own, Isabelle Rego, has been named an Outstanding Vocational Student by the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators.
Representing Diman’s Metal Fabrication and Joining Technologies program, Isabelle was recognized for her academic excellence, leadership, and unwavering dedication to her school and community.
Her involvement in DECA, Key Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and her passion for volunteering and advocacy made her a standout among students across the Commonwealth.
The 39th Annual Outstanding Vocational Technical Student Award Ceremony was held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester this month.
The banquet was hosted by the Massachusetts Career and Technical Educators Organization and the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators.
The ceremony honors exceptional vocational and technical students from across the Commonwealth.
Each year, more than 50 students are recognized for their excellence in various vocational fields. Recipients of the award were chosen by their schools for their exceptional academic performance throughout the year and their active involvement in both school and community life, exemplifying the highest standards of vocational-technical education.
