Diman Regional students take home 50 medals across 21 events at state conference; here are the winners

FALL RIVER, SOMERSET, SWANSEA, WESTPORT – Some local students recently took home some well-deserved hardware.

According to the school, this past weekend, Diman Regional students competed at the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference at Four Points by Sheraton Norwood.

Many also volunteered their free time to assist with the conference’s shoe drive charity.

Zachary Lasson, who was one of just two students in the state to receive the Judith B. McKinstry Scholarship and earned an Executive Torch Award.

34 Diman competitors brought home a staggering 50 medals across 21 different events.

12 students took 1st place

10 students placed 2nd

7 students placed 3rd

11 students placed 4th
