Despite record warmth, several inches of snow expected for Bristol, Plymouth, and Cape Cod counties
It may seem hard to believe after today’s record warmth, but winter is quickly returning.
According to the National Weather Service, cold temperatures and wintry precipitation returns Sunday into Sunday night with accumulating snowfall expected.
The highest amounts of snow are expected to be seen across portions of Southeastern Massachusetts to the Cape/Islands.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of Plymouth County and all of the Cape and the Islands where slippery roads are expected.
Snow is expected to begin between 5-9:00 a.m. on Sunday. Flakes could be seen as late as Monday before 8:00 a.m.
