Despite beginning of spring, winter isn’t quite done with Massachusetts just yet
While it certainly won’t break any records, some accumulating snow is expected soon in Massachusetts, reminding residents that we can still see the white stuff in late March despite the start of spring.
According to the National Weather Service, the Bay State is expected to see rain on Sunday and early Monday, however, the temperatures are expected to drop enough to get a small amount of accumulating snow on Monday.
Depending on where you live in Massachusetts, you could see anywhere from a half inch to two inches of snow.

Sunday
Rain likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 49. South wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Sunday Night
Rain, mainly before 4am. Low around 36. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Monday
A chance of rain showers before 11am, then a chance of snow showers between 11am and noon, then a chance of rain showers after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 41. North wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday Night
A chance of rain and snow showers before 7pm, then a chance of snow showers between 7pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
