Death of woman found deceased in tent in Fall River not suspicious

Fall River personnel responded to a scene earlier this week after a woman was reportedly found deceased.

A call came into dispatch at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, for a man who stated that he found his wife deceased in their tent that morning on Plymouth Avenue near the overpass in the wooded area near Applebee’s.

A witness stated that the medical examiner and several vehicles were at the scene.

According to a person with knowledge of the situation, the death is not suspicious, and the woman was suffering from health issues.

The identity of the woman is currently not available, and a request sent to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has not yet been returned.
