Day of Portugal in Fall River postponed
In light of current public health concerns, Day Of Portugal Fall River 2020 has made the very difficult decision to postpone the annual celebration , originally scheduled for June 19th to 21th, according to organizers of the event.
According to Floriano Cabral, one of the event’s organizers, the event will still go on as long as it is safe to do so.
“We are very excited to announce that the event will take place from September 3rd to 6th. We will still feature the same fantastic entertainment, Portuguese food and beverages.”
“We sincerely appreciate the understanding of our supporters as we work together as a community to keep the public safe and healthy.”
Day of Portugal is a yearly event that takes place at The Gates Of The City in Fall River and features music, entertainment, food, and ceremonies.
