Dartmouth Police release name of 18-year-old teen killed in fatal crash

DARTMOUTH, MA – A teen has died in a weekend crash.

According to police, on Sunday, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Dartmouth Police, along with other emergency personnel, responded to the area of 234 Russells Mills Road for a single vehicle crash with reported injuries.

Upon arrival, officers located a male unresponsive in the roadway near a damaged 2003 Hyundai Sonata.

The male, subsequently identified as Nikoles Joseph, 18, of Dartmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, after the crash the driver’s door was ajar, and police located Joseph pinned between the vehicle and telephone pole. 

The crash currently remains under investigation by members of the Dartmouth Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
