Dangerousness hearing set for Fall River dog after bite that sends male to the hospital

A dog and owner in Fall River are up for a dangerousness hearing after the pet bit a city resident.

According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, Animal Control stated that on August 21, 2021 a tan male pitbull escaped from a fenced in yard on Lincoln Avenue and bit a male in the abdomen who was walking in that area.

The victim was treated at a near by hospital for his injury.

Animal Control was notified about the incident on August 24, 2021 and put a 10 day quarantine on the dog.

The dangerousness hearing was scheduled by Animal Control for September 30, 2021.

    In the US a pit bull kills a person an average of once every twelve days. They are weapons that can pull their own trigger.

      and they can paint their own fence if needed.
