Crash into business on Route 1A in Massachusetts leads to serious injuries
One person was seriously injured after a crash into a business caused damage last night.
According to Police Chief Bill McGrath, on Wednesday at about 10:10 p.m., Wrentham Police & Fire responded to Wampum Corner Wines & Liquors after a pickup truck traveling south on Route 1A, lost control and struck the building.
The pickup shattered the window to the business, causing significant damage outside and inside the building.
The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by WFD Rescue to a local hospital.
The crash was investigated by Officer Ellis and Officer Coliflores.
