Couple from Rhode Island and Massachusetts found dead in murder-suicide, family attempting to rehome pets
Rhode Island and Massachusetts residents have died in an apparent murder-suicide.
According to authorities, 24-year-old Loren Marino of Haverhill, and 24-year-old Austin Amaral of North Providence, Rhode Island, were found deceased at a residence at 195 Broadway on Sunday when police were called to perform a welfare check at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Both were found with fatal gunshot wounds.
Marino was being remembered by those who knew her as a sweet and smart woman who was loved by many. She leaves behind family, friends, and two dogs that family members are trying to rehome.

Marino was reportedly in a dating relationship with Amaral.
The investigation is ongoing.
