Construction to result in new roadway closures in Fall River
According to Deputy Administrator Paul Ferland, sections of roadway in the city are scheduled to be closed.
The intersection of South Main and Middle Street will be closed to all traffic starting November 13 until November 23, 2018.
The area will be closed except for emergency vehicle access.
The section of South Main Street from Middle Street to Osborn Street will be one way traffic heading south from November 23 to December 20, 2018.
Due to weather and the nature of the underground construction, these dates may be adjusted.
Efforts will be made to make all residents aware by means of Message Board signs leading into all the areas.
Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes or follow the posted detour signs.
