Company expanding Fall River operations, hiring, with 83,000-square-foot addition

FALL RIVER, Mass., According to a press release, Cipla today announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing facility located at 927 Currant Road in Fall River, Massachusetts. This expansion includes an 83,000-square-foot addition to the existing facility, aimed at increasing production capacity and enhancing operational efficiency. Cipla is expanding its US manufacturing footprint by investing in capacity expansion for complex respiratory products at its advanced facilities in Fall River, MA & Central Islip, Long Island NY.

The new facility will feature state-of-the-art technology and advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Cipla’s facility is dedicated to the production of respiratory products for the US market. This facility possesses comprehensive filling capabilities, stringent quality assurance processes, and a specialized workforce trained in complex manufacturing. These capabilities highlight Cipla’s commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory care solutions and serving patients across the country.

Cipla, which employs over 800 individuals in the US, was selected as an awardee by Massachusetts Life Sciences Center in the latest round of the MLSC Tax Incentive Program and will receive tax incentive to support their expansion in Fall River, creating new jobs in the region.
