City of Fall River Summer Jam to feature skateboarding contest with cash prizes, live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks

FALL RIVER, MA – The City of Fall River is excited to share details concerning Summer Jam, a community celebration taking place in honor of the newly installed Lafayette Skatepark on Saturday, July 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lafayette Skatepark.

The event will bring together skateboarders, families, and community members for an afternoon featuring skateboarding, live entertainment, local vendors, and food trucks.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the new recreational space while celebrating the growth of Fall River’s skateboarding community.

Summer Jam will feature a Best Trick Contest and Skate Jam, giving skaters of all skill levels the chance to showcase their skills and compete for cash prizes.

Cash prizes for the Best Trick Contest include $250 for first, $150 for second, and $50 for third.
