(Fall River, MA- July 27th, 2020)- Mayor Paul E. Coogan has opened an emergency cooling center at Government Center from 10am to 4:30pm on Monday, July 27th and Tuesday, July 28th due to extreme heat.
You are asked to please use the Third Street entrance. You will be asked to complete a COVID questionnaire and will be required to wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing requirements.
Due to high temperatures in Fall River, the City of Fall River wants to remind citizens to check in on family, friends
and neighbors. Drink plenty of water, stay inside in a cool area and do not exert yourself if you have health conditions.
You can contact the Mayor’s office at 508-324-2600 with any questions.
