City of Fall River holding swearing in of Municipal Officers, City Council to select president, vice president

(FALL RIVER, Mass. – On Monday, at 4:30 in the afternoon, the City of Fall River will hold their Inauguration of Municipal Officers at B.M.C. Durfee High School’s Nagle Auditorium, 460 Elsbree Street, Fall River, MA.

Members elect will be sworn in to the Office of Mayor, City Council, and School
Committee. The City Council will also select president and vice president for the beginning 2-year term.

In November’s election, Incumbent Mayor Paul Coogan edged out Gabriel “Boomer” Amaral.

In addition to the race for mayor, 9 city council seats were won.
