FALL RIVER, MA – On Tuesday, November 4th, the City of Fall River in collaboration with the Fall River School Department and local food banks will sponsor an Election Day Food Drive.

“We want to encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items to polling precincts on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. All collected items will be distributed to local food pantries throughout the city to support individuals and families in need if SNAP benefits are paused on November 1st,” said Mayor Coogan.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: 

Bring non-perishable food items to your voting precinct on Election Day. Monetary donations can be sent to the United Way Response Fund. 

MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS

• Unexpired, non- perishable food items 

• Canned vegetables, beans & soup 

• Rice, pasta & cereal

• Shelf-stable milk & baby formula 

• Peanut butter & canned protein
