City of Fall River announces tax preparation services at Fall River Government Center for 2024
The City of Fall River has once again announced tax preparation services at Fall River Government Center.
AARP Tax-aide volunteers will be on hand at Fall River City Hall from Feb 1, 2024- April 17, 2024, Monday through Friday.
When City Hall is closed for any reason, there will be no tax preparation that day.
From 8:45 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. each day, taxpayers will be given an appointment to have their return prepared. It may be the same day or another one depending on the number of individuals in line as well as the number of tax preparers that day. Taxpayers must bring all tax documents with them in order for the return to be properly completed. Additionally, they are encouraged to bring the previous two year’s tax returns.

The AARP volunteers will be in the glass enclosure on the first floor near the 3rd Street entrance.
Millions of taxpayers across the nation can also access free software products provided by IRS Free File trusted partners by visiting IRS.gov.
