City of Fall River announces free 2024 tree lighting celebration and festivities
The City of Fall River is pleased to announce the 2024 Tree Lighting Celebration. This celebration is set to take place at the Fall River Government Center following the 40th Annual Children’s Holiday Parade. This event is free to all adults and children thanks to the generous sponsorship of Bay Coast Bank.

This year’s Tree Lighting Celebration will be filled with fun and free activities on Saturday, December 7th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. to keep the holiday spirit going following the parade. At approximately 5:00 p.m., special guests will join Mayor Paul Coogan to light the tree for the first time this season. Please see below for event activities:
