City of Fall River announces dates for 2025 semi-annual hydrant flushing program

The City of Fall River has announced the dates for the semi-annual hydrant flushing program.

The flushing will begin on March 31st, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and ending May 9th, 2025. They may also flush early mornings during these weeks starting at 1:00 a.m.

Residents may experience some temporary discoloration of their water during hydrant flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before washing laundry.

The Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause; however, this is a vital part of the annual water distribution system maintenance program.
