City has turned sections of two Fall River streets into a one-way. here’s why

Fall River Mayor Paul Coogan and Traffic Department Director Stephanie MacArthur have announced that Maple Street heading west from June Street to North Main Street has officially become a one-way.

Please also note that June Street, from Prospect Street to Maple Street, has been converted to a one-way heading south as part of this plan.

These changes have been implemented as part of the safety traffic plan for Westall School. The new procedure is intended to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for all students, staff, and nearby residents.

The Director of Traffic and Parking wants to remind drivers to remain attentive to all posted signage as they approach the intersection.
