Christopher Silvia of Christopher’s announces he has pulled papers for mayor of Fall River

After initially stating he would not run for office, a Fall River business owner has decided to throw his hat into the ring.

Christopher Silvia of Christopher’s Cafe announced Thursday afternoon that he has pulled papers to run for mayor.

In a video, Silvia stated that he had a change of heart because he has seen too much over the past year or two that has bothered him, and he feels he can do something about it.

Silvia noted that not having political experience or a record could be a benefit.
