Children’s Advocacy Center of Bristol County holding Spring Spectacular
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Bristol County (CAC) has moved its spring fundraising event online, with the Stay-at-Home Virtual CAC Spring Spectacular, scheduled for Thursday, June 25 from 7 to 8 p.m.
So get out your fascinators and best spring attire and get ready for a virtual good time.
The event will be held on Zoom and feature a talk by Lauren Souza, a survivor of child abuse who was helped by the CAC. In addition, Above and Beyond for Children awards will be presented to state Sen. Michael Rodriques and state Reps. Pat Haddad, and Betty Poirier.
Violinist Laura Souza Wagner and vocalist Erin Morrissette will offer live entertainment, and a silent auction will be held to benefit the CAC mission to protect children.
The auction, which is already open, will close June 25. In addition, raffle tickets are on sale for four gift baskets. Register for the event at the CAC website, and you will receive a Zoom invitation. Anyone who wants to bid on an item or donate, however, can do so without attending the event. Your support will make an important difference to the children and families we serve in Bristol County.
