Chick-fil-A Somerset sets opening date for next week, grand opening festivities announced

Chick-fil-A will soon add a new location on the South Coast.

With current offerings in Fall River, Dartmouth, Seekonk, and South Attleboro, the restaurant chain will be taking orders at 564 Grand Army Highway in Somerset Fairfield Commons beginning April 9th.

Chick-fil-A is known for, of course, chicken. The franchise states that they focus on in-store food preparation and serving chicken that is whole breast meat raised with no antibiotics, fillers or added hormones. Fresh produce is delivered several times a week. Salads are prepared to order throughout the day and their famous Chick-fil-A Lemonade® is prepared daily with lemon juice, pure cane sugar and water.

Locations are closed on Sundays so that employees can set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose. It is a tradition that they have upheld since founder Truett Cathy opened the first location in 1946.

 Lucas Powell announced on social media that he will be the owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Somerset.

“My journey with Chick-fil-A began in 2013, when I was a high school student walking to work at my local Chick-fil-A. Inspired by my own Operator, I set a goal to one day become an Operator myself. That journey took me to New Jersey for nearly five years, followed by three years on the road supporting Chick-fil-A ownership transitions and new restaurant openings— which is when I was first introduced to Massachusetts and immediately felt at home.

Chick-fil-A Somerset is inviting the community to show their spots at a Moove-In Party on Opening day. Anyone who dresses in cow spots – from a full cow suit to a simple spotted accessory – will receive one free entrée on opening day from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To receive this opening day offer, your order must be placed in-person while dressed in spots.

Breakfast offer options are Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill or 4-ct Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis®. Lunch/dinner offer options are Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 8-ct Chick-fil-A® Nuggets, 8-ct Grilled Nuggets or 5-ct Nugget Kid’s Meal for kids. Guests can redeem this offer inside the restaurant or in the Drive-Thru. Limited to one per person in cow attire while supplies last. No purchase is necessary.
