Charges have been filed concerning the alleged theft of a Fall River dog and the owners are issuing a reward for his safe return.

According to details released by the owners, at approximately 10:30 a.m. on February 25th, their vehicle was at Sunny’s Car Wash when their French bulldog, Angus, was stolen from it.

A man in a white Chevy pick-up truck, that the owners believe is responsible, was located by police, but he reportedly stated that he gave the dog to someone in a white Acura who claimed the dog.

Fall River Police Sergeant Moses Pereira stated that criminal charges have been filed in connection with the case, however, no arrest was made. He was unable to release the name of the individual charged as the case must be reviewed by the court.

Angus’ family say that he still has not been returned. Angus has a small white distinguished mark on his chest, a brindle coat, and weighs 35 pounds.

The owners say that they are offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to Angus coming home safe. The reward will be handed out when he is back in their possession.

If you have any information on Angus’ whereabouts, contact Fall River Police.
